“The UCP government is trying to ram Bill 9 through the Legislature before the end of the week. If passed, it will allow them to break contracts and impose wage cuts on nearly 200,000 public sector workers.

We’re asking people to go down to Legislature tonight anytime after 7 p.m. for an hour or so to support the NDP as they fight the bill. It’s important to send the message that Albertans are watching the UCP… and that we’re not amused.

The visitor galleries above the Legislature are open to the public whenever the Legislature is in session. All you have to do is go to the main doors and ask to watch the debate. MLAs will be sitting each night this week until at least midnight. Please come when you can …and bring a friend!”
