Education Events are funded by the EI Rebate Fund. Local 196 Education Committee must adhere to the ‘UNA Policy on Employment Insurance Rebate Trust Fund’ in disbursing the EI Fund, which ensures equitable application of the fund and availability to all dues payers of Local 196.  The Education Committee strives to provide enjoyable and educational dinners valued by our dues-payers.

Local 196 Education Events are held up to four times per year.  Registration is available for in-person events through DMS.

ONLY DUESPAYERS OF LOCAL 196 may attend these events.

Ticket cancellation instructions:

If you register for an Education dinner and are unable to attend, you must cancel your ticket via one of two ways:

1) DMS

OR

2) emailing the Local Education Committee: local196education@una.ca

ADVANCE NOTICE IS MUCH APPRECIATED.

You may not “give” your ticket to another duespayer/member to attend in your place.
