“UNA Locals across Alberta are planning to hold events on Thursday, Feb. 13, 2020 to raise concerns about the Alberta government’s decision to to lay off hundreds of Nurses across Alberta and the impact it will have on safe patient care. Eliminating nursing jobs contradicts all evidence of the best way to run a safe and effective health care system.

UNA members and supporters are welcome to participate. UNA members are encouraged to participate on their non-work time or coffee and lunch breaks.

UNA Local 196 invites all its members & dues payers to attend one of two sessions being offered for its upcoming OH&S Workshop at the Fantasyland Hotel. The purpose of this workshop is to provide attendees with a variety of tools to identify and address Occupational Health & Safety Concerns. Meals will be provided at both sessions.

Morning Session: Feb.11, 08:30-12:00
Evening Session: Mar.15, 17:30-21:00
