UNA Local 196 will be holding its Annual General Meeting on November 30, 2015 at the Alberta Teachers Association located at 11010 142 St.
Dinner will be served at 1730 and meeting will commence at 1800. Please register for the meeting via DMS. Meeting is open to all Local 196 members.
Meeting will consist of review of Annual Budget, Bylaws, and P&P’s and elections will be held for the following positions:
President; Secretary; 1 PRC Committee member; 2 OH&S Committee members; and 2 Education Committee members. Polling hours from 1830h to 2000h.
Deadline for nominations is November 23, 2015 @ 1630. Nomination forms can be downloaded under the ‘Resources’ tab.
Local 196 is pleased to welcome Teresa Berdusco. Teresa is an RN at the RAH and has served 5 yrs in the Canadian Armed Forces. She currently volunteers with the Canadian Medical Assistance Team and has deployed on several humanitarian missions around the globe.
