Over 300 Registered Nurses from Local 196 gathered on May 7, 2018 at Fantasyland Hotel for an evening of mingling and education. The featured speaker, Big Daddy Tazz kept everyone laughing in their seats for over an hour as he shared stories of his journey living with mental illness and how it has shaped and changed his life. His talk was not only humourous but enlightening and empowering as he shared his passion to “Standup Against the Stigma” of mental illness.
